Slave Cylinder

I received my new slave cylinder from meek today, but its missing the rod that goes thru the boot- the one that hits the clutch fork?

Its missing this bit:

Has anyone else had this issue before?


I lost the rod from my old slave! I think I left it on the side of the road when I removed my old slave cylinder (that exploded fluid all over me) Its not there any more thats for sure.....

you can get those extended ones off US ebay. but thats a longer wait again.

I would have thought that the new one would have the rod included?

This is starting to fucken shit me bigtime. I dont have time to fuck around with a bullshit little slave cylinder!!

an extended one is only for people with issues changing at high rpm aint it? I just need something- need my fucken car back on the road. Cant believe how much of a PITA this has turned out to be. Bursons? Reco? FAIL.

i have never had an issue with any of mine. not sure the exact theory behind the extended ones.

Man I am an IDIOT! I needed to keep the slave cylinder rod to put in the new slave. Its floating around Melbourne central somewhere

Meek is sending me one via post, so will get that tomorrow and bang it in.

Would want to make sure its from a W5M332 box aswell, as i do know some slave cylinder rods are different lengths
