I startd up my vr4 and noticed that smoke started coming out of the turbo manifold, so I took of the heat shield and saw that two bolts that holds in the manifold was missing! And a bit of oil seems to be coming out causing the smoke. The previous owner said that he changed the turbo from a 14b to a big 16g. My question is that where can I find some replacement bolts?? pretty dumb question but yeah will do with some help.

If its the head to manifold studs, look at the Champion brand bolt stand at supercheap or repco, they have the stud and bolt in a packet if i remember correctly they are 8mmx 1.25 thread pitch (on early evos the outter tow are 10mm x1.25)
If its the bolt from manifold to turbo meek automotive sell them.

Put some anti seize on them while your at it so less chance of snapping if you take them off in the future.

There they are bolts from the manifold to the head. Yeah would check out repco this week, also the car has been idlieing a tad high at round 2000 rpm and only boosting 5 psi!! Hopefully this will fix the problem

The centre bolt on the bottom row of the exhaust manifold backs directly into an oil gallery and will shoot oil all over the place if it's not in there. I'd also strongly suggest changing all the studs if they are unknown condition as well as inspecting the manifolds itself for cracks an that both facing surfaces are 100% flat. Also check both the gaskets. Just my 2c after chasing exhaust leaks...

Cold idle at 2000 rpm is pretty normal. If it's still high when warm, the fiav is probably faulty/dead. Will need replacement or block off plate such as one that meek sells.

finally got my exhaust manifold changed from APC and now there seems to be fluid leaking out of the manifold, APC said that the turbo is about to go....is it possible for a bad turbo to cause the leaking...sorry im a super noob :)
