just got off the phone to Joe Beninca from Beninca motors with rather dissapointing news (for me - and possibly "oscar" too)....

seems they have decided to can the P n P model ecu for evo1/2/3 models, so now its going to cost me easyily another grand to have an autronic ECU in my car.........

What? I thought it was a modified E4 board? You sure its just not Benica trying to get some extra $$$ off ya? You should double check with Ray Hall

whats PnP stand for? To me, thats a type of transistor :|:S I think my teacher at tafe has the program so you can download your car chip program onto the pc, edit it, and re-upload it.

i also believe wolf3d will be doing a vr4 plugin ecu
and also an evo plugin..

i had to provide some wiring information for the prototype

but in my opinion, vr4's would be a pain in the ass.. jspec / aspec / evo's etc etc...

i hate it when i get the wrong info.

just got off the phone to Ray Hall up in QLD, who informed me that they are indeed still producing a plug in replacement board for EVO123 (based on a SMC)......
They are actually an evo4 board, with a few mods to make it compatible.

So beninca motors doesnt really know whats going on.
