our club is being defamed because marty is on a hunch. clearly team4g doesn't care about clubvr4 (to the point that they wouldn't bother with spamming it)

all this is, is our thoughts on the topic.

it's freedom of speech, deleting it is what clubvr4 would do.

Well how can I post on clubvr4 if i've been banned? And if I was going to post some spiteful remarks about anyone do you actually think i'd be dumb enough to use my own computer/internet connection?

Dear Members,

I'm aware of what mrt is happily posting on clubvr4. Unfortunately his responses seem to await a reply from myself. He happily banned me without supplying any information (such as the IP) with a time/date... or preferably a screenshot of the offenders IP. The IP he did supply to me matches Dre however there is no time stamp attached and thus I am not taking it as the genuine IP of the offender over there.

As far as I'm concerned, I could pull any of your IP's and post them anywhere else at random. If it's not a SCREENSHOT, then it's not evidence.

I wish to make it very clear that things are now in motion to combat this problem. I will be replying to all the PM's shortly. (IE: after I finish catching up on the 100 or so posts)

I'd be looking for something a little bit more direct than a screenshot.

I.e. If he wants to prove it, I'm sure his ISP would be more than happy to supply you with the information you need.

OK, that been said, i don't know you personally, so can step back and say what it looks/sounds like from an outsider...... but from whats been happening around here as of late, why do you think all these issues keep arrising?

Why is it ok for you to write/post such derogatory things about another member, but when anyone else has a problem with the way YOU handle this place or with YOU personally, they are not allowed to say it?

Having said that, how can you expect to have any sort of respect or credibility around here by the way you act?

Exactly.... you cant. The worst part of it is, even though so many people hate your guts, you continue to behave in a way that makes others that are new to the club realise what an autocratic, power-hungry person you are and ultimately make them refuse to accept any opinion/advice you give?

This latest childish outburst will ensure that the LIST of people you consider to be your enemies will no doubt continue to grow.

If you FEEL the NEED to ban me, like you do to so many other people, I welcome it. I have not breached any forum rules in writing this, and am not being derogatory towards you in any way. If you care anything about how others people perceive you (which any self-respecting person does) I would advise you to seriously reconsider your conduct around this place and especially towards other members.

Lastly, I dont think you actually realise that its the members who make a club, not one person, so wake up, smell the roses, and start treating people the way you would want to be treated.

Yes guys, i'm aware of the email sent out by the resurrected copy of the old cvr4 database. I'm also aware of who's responsible for it.

In my books cvr4 is dead. I don't know, nor do I care if you guys frequent the new forums.


Oh and i'd like to make it clear... I have zero affiliation with it. I am not responsible for it's hosting nor it's implementation. Nor do I approve of it as it is a blatant poaching of the cvr4 database. I expect mrt will file legal action or some such to have it shut down.

This whole thing, to me, is quite sad. It's apalling to see how quickly a club can die. I haven't really posted any replies or anything on here as I didn't want to be another on the ban list for CVR4, as it's been my home since before I bought my VR4, plus I'm a financial member.

But, it seems the shit has hit the fan, much to my dismay. I know a lot of you don't like marty, how he acts, or maybe even the way CVR4 has been run from the start, or maybe just since mrt's reign. But the place was still a great source of help and information to many. If you have a gripe with mrt, leave it at that, but don't defame CVR4 because of him. He's not Club VR4, the Club's members are.

I totally agree with Liberoz on this one, name calling and negitivity win nothing.

Whether or not team4g becomes home to a lot of CVR4 members now, myself included, I still wouldn't like to see CVR4 bandied around as a 'bad egg' etc. I don't think bitching from either side wins any points.

mrt is a hypocrit, the club has been going downhill for a long time, i got banned for posting that he wanted to sell his car, then suprise suprise a few weeks later he puts a big ad at the top of the forum index and on every page on the forum that his car is for sale, i have nothing to do with club vr4 anymore, my time is spent browsing the team4g website, much more enjoyable, ppl are freindly, and the stuff is always helpful
