hasnt this who has or where to get leads been done to death? i thought you came to the conclusion that magnacore was the best on the market?

FYI i was using custom AFAS leads on my evo.. cost $100

I would, but i'm not a wrench head. I bought the setup off a coupleo f guys on gvr4.org (us) and am waiting for it to arrive. I'll tell you all about it and take lots of pics when it's going on.

My car is currently missing the head, various accessories, the entire interior, both bars, bonnet, rad support, radiator, front/rear rio, grille and guards.

So will take pics later

I'm with Entaran, leads are so last century :lol: . GSRSOL, basically the widespread use of Magnecor 8mm or 10mm leads (10mm are the same wire as 8mm apparently but with thicker insulation) proves that they are the most popular choice for performance hi-tech turbo to V8 muscle cars. I've also used Top Gun and Ralliart leads (I'll get you the name tomorrow - some Japanese brand) but never really in a high hp application where there were any missfire issues (touch wood)

lol... just go for the thickest u can find mate...

Are leads for an ASPEC VR4 the same as the JSPEC? ie, are the coil packs mounted in the same place/ orientation........ anyone know?

I only ask as apparently the US spec VR4s have the coil pack mounted like an EVO, in front of the plenum........

Or stretch a set of Galant GSR leads.
