Spark Plugs & Leads

hi guys,
car seems to be 'missing'
when im running higher boost and i plant it, it takes a while to kick off and gives me a whizzzing sound.....someone suggested new leads and plugs...what do u reckon?
what brand would u recommend?
i want something half decent...

change your plugs and gap them properly first, if that doesn't work, then maybe look at your leads.
the plugs are about $2.50 each and the leads would be $100+

I would change the plugs first, as its cheaper.

Then if you still have a problem change the leads.

If a problem still exists after this then look at coil packs etc.

As Matress said, make sure you gap the plugs properly.

Brand wise you can really use anything, NGK, Denso, Champion.

For leads I have Bosch but NGK also make leads, my Bosch items cost around $85 from memory.

If you want high performance stuff then look at Magnecore High Tension leads, they will be in the $150s I would say, but not entirely sure.

These guys will be able to make you up a set of leads, if you don't get genuine Mitsubishi ones. I would only get NGK spark plugs. don't get champion ones they are crap.

its your keeping it pretty stock go some NGK leads and plugs

(NGK leads $60 & Plugs $12 or iriduims for about $18 a plug but there good for 100,000kms)

i know afew guys who swear by NGK leads.. they have been pushing 250kw + thru their motors.
