Just wondering how i can get the light on the dash to go off
what can i check? how do i find the actual problem with the abs??

cheers

start by checking the abs sensors and rings on all corners are clean and in good condition, check for leaks also,

ok i have tried all of that... now what.. is there a diag that i could check...

are there many reasons that the light on the dash comes on?

what's next?

check metal frags havent built up on the sensor on any hubs and the wiring is in good nik.

I had problems with my ABS a while ago, It has since come good, I put it down to water had gotten into the unit somewhere as the inner guard liner on the left side has a hole worn in it as it seemed to only play up in wet weather. It would seem as if the unit was contantly running and made the battery go flat a few times. Mitsubishi should be able to attach it to a scan tool that will show up codes relating to the problem area, I don't kno if removing the battery for 15mins or so resets the ECU etc in these cars or not.
