stupid christmas shoppers coming out of knox were blocking up the intersections so i hit about 4000rpm in 1st gear to get around a few cars.. but apparently that is classified as hoon behaviour. defected for a few questionable things. worst part is that pettett pulled a few hoses loose from the wastegate while trying to find a boost controller that didn't exist. if i hadn't noticed that i was running 2 bar, they'd be up for lawsuit.

anyway. i did see 2-3 gsrs cruise past while being defected.
 
this is the main reason why i dont go anywhere near the knox area.

my friend gets defected coming out of his street ive seen it happen twice in 2 mths.
 
I burn through there a bit in this car and my last one too, never even been pulled up for a RBT. Maybe they realise it is a pretty much stock evo 3.

LOL i have a BRIGHT YELLOW lancer and i live in knox.. just behind the main shopping centre actually.. George(dougmo) and Barry(bazeng) also are living in the knox area..

so i guess its just how u behave on the roads...

that is bulcaca! hoon behaviour? my a$$!! everyother stock car probably does it and gets away with it. difference is the exhaust makes it louder and it sux!!! cops r in the most stupid places sometimes, they r where they r not meant to be and NOT where they r meant to be.

im in the knox area quite often (especially knox city) and havnt been puller over in my yellow car too!

is your lancer even registered? how often do you drive it?

baz's car spends its time at springy motors so how would that count?

and i think dougmo's e2 is a project car and i dont think thats registered either so how would it count?

living in the area and not driving the car isnt justifying that your not being picked on.

i drive there with my rolla and dont get picked on.

but i would never go around the knox shopping area with the evo.

my friend literally drives out of his driveway and gets random pull overs which is bs and i know for a fact he doesnt drive like a hoon.
 
same happens around here

if they had to choose between a family car doing 15kms over the speed limit in the left lane, or option 2 of defecting a modded gsr/evo doing the speed limit and driving sensible in the right lane.. theyll go straight for the right lane... happens all the time and i dont think it will ever change

i didnt say wrong place, i said stupid places, everyone sees it all the time. anyway everyone has their own opinion. and its just personal experience which makes me believe that. but im not going into that.

lol, i agree with polo.. knox tmu (and pettett in particular) are well known for targeting imports. anyway defect has been cleared, no dramas.

back on topic.. spotted a nice white e9 in footscray this morning on the way out to the workshop.
 
'EVO8MR' gunmetal on Stud Rd turning to High Street Rd a bit before noon this morning.
 
spotted 2 evo 8's on the hume hwy today
one silver one at a truck stop
and a gunmetal MR cruising next 2 us
both NSW reg'd
anyone from here??
