Very quick question for you, guys. What's the best guesstimate at when you should be looking to upgrade from your stock intake manifold to an aftermarket (Magnus, JMF etc) one? Have read in some places that the stock manifold can flow enough air to get you to roundabout 500bhp before it becomes a bit of a bottleneck, but not sure how reliable that info is.

Any thoughts on the matter?

One of my mates is running a 2.4 stroker with oem evo intake manifold and making 482hp on 24psi. Previous tune on e85 seen over 500 on the stock evo intake manifold

Oh yeah true Dougmo. Good point. Evl20t....I actually have both a vr4 turbo, galant na, and Hyundai na manifolds sitting around home ha ha ha. Can't be stuffed swapping them all over to see if I notice anything. Would be interesting to know any difference.

Just so people know u can't bolt an Evo inlet onto vr4 head. The ports on manifold are too small and don't cover the ports on the head (even though it does "bolt up").

We know that Gianni, EVO has small ports and VR4 are big ports :p

Just wanted to know if any Hyundais are small port, or even a Nimbus 4G64?
