Hey guys my 1.8L cc gsr is completely stock. Just want to knw what it would take to run a 12 second pass down the quarter mile strip?

have you run it down there yet? if so what did you get. will give us an indication of how strong your driving is and how much either practice or car is needed.

i'd gues they run a high 13 to mid 14 stock so maybe an extra 40-50 kw should do it.

nah I've never actually ran it dwn da quarter. I'd say my drivn is pretty good as I also own a vr4 nd previously owned a evo 4 in nz...but yeah everyone thinks that they are good. Just want to know what I would need (mod wise)..the car is completely stock, only has front and rear sway bar and king springs! Duznt even hav a pod or exhaust!

You'll need:
Intake
2.5" exhaust
TD05 @ 16psi
Evo AFM, ECU and Injectors.
An intercooler upgrade of some sort.

it has been done on the TD04 before, but I wouldn't recommend it. Best I got on the TD04 was 13.49, but that was still on the stock exhaust.

Do you mean the TDO4L? and 13.49 with stock exhaust in a 1190kg gsr? That is very impressive.
Best I got out of the tdo4l was 13.75 with;
K&N Airfilter, Split dump, 3" Exhaust, upgraded intercooler, cushioned ceramic clutch, tuned and bugger all fuel in the tank and driver 80kg..

Yeah stock TD04L 13G. Had a VR-4 front mount, ceramic clutch, K&N and boost up to 14psi. I should dig up the vid and put it on youtube. Of course all you hear is the GTS-t Skyline wheelspinning :lol:

Was in May, so around 15-20deg air temps.
