the story go's like this :

Went to vicroads in Broady at lunchtime.
Wasnt there for more than 25mins.
Could just about see my car the whole time.
Came out and it was gone!!!

Any help would be great!!
It has my phone number on the back casue it was for sale too!!!!

a guy here at work that lives in broady was saying
"its alright to drive through, just dont stop, or get out of the car"

Still, its not as bad as NZ for getting your car stolen- you cant park your modified car ANYWHERE over there.

My mates EVO 2 got stripped at the casino carpark in Auckland- apparently it was the carparks' security's cousins.

haha i know that gsr!.. poor guy, the only place to leave your car at vicroads is where all the driving instructors leave there cars cos theres always someone there!..

too make it worst.. police station is right next door and the broady magistrate court is on the other side haha..

How do cars get stolen these days with 3 point immobolisers?

They take like 30min to get around.

no but 130 will get you a good one,

its true, even if u explicitly know where each modual is, its still a good 10 min job to bypass it all

Thanks heaps for putting the post up for me, no sign of the car yet. I was only in the vicroads office for 5-10 minutes and it fu*k'n vanished.

Anyway keep an eye out for me guys, thanks for the support. Next time i go to broady i'm hiring and armed guard to sit in the front seat!

just a question.. where abouts did you park your car? someone would have to have seen something if it was in the parking lot..

I parked it at the side garage bit where they check cars, engine numbers etc. The guys out there saw it leave but said there was nothing sus about it, no broken window, forcing the door open etc..

They were fu*king good!

fark... not a nice post to read at all... good luck finding it man... just a pointer... never put 4wd Turbo on ya back window again LOL...

my skyline got broken into at fountain gate shopping centre was only gone for 20min... its like someone saw me park the car n went from thier... they got in easy no damage to door or window... smashed my ignition barral n tried starting it... i had over $2000 worth of stuff sitting in the back seat... Nother was stolen... all they wanted was the car n the imobiliser stopped them... they didnt even try to bypass it... so i got fucken lucky! but i knew they only wanted the car nothing more! that was only 2 weeks after owning the car too!

sorry to change topic but it just makes ya think about owning a turbo car what the risk is...

just bought a new alarm with a remote sensor... so if my car is going off the controller will page me n i go running out with a BAT lol! didnt cost very much as well... will see how it goes once installed

I suspect it'll be found stripped in Craigieburn ...... a mates EL Man XR6 was stolen from the Court carpark last year (ironically he was at a court appearince for deliberate loss of traction. lol) . Talk about bad karma! The whole interior (even gearknox and center console) and bodykit were stripped, and was left parked in a street in Craigieburn with taxi bumpers and wheels. lol It was later sold @ Fowles by insruance company and sold for a whopping 6k with 20 lebs bidding on it. Any bets one of them had the interior and bodykit sitting in their backyard!
