It was actually HYPRVR's ebay skills- I just put 2 and 2 together, and alerted Jon, who alerted Darren, who has alerted the owner.

Good to see the mitsu community prevail, lets hope the people who are involved get brought to justice. At this stage I must stress that it hasnt been proven that infact these actually are the parts off the stolen car, but soon we will find out exactly if they are or not :p

As if that isn't a dead giveaway.
Maybe someone is willing to pose as a possible buyer, get his details etc, after or if the cops get around to it, go pay him a visit.

Actually lets make an event of it. Imagine having 20 guy's with baseball bats in the front yard.

Why not buy it off him, and get him to let u pick it up,thinking hes gotten away with it, then rock up with a crew of 20 blokes wielding trolley bars and smak him a good one. ahahah.

Because it might not even be this guy that actually stole the car??

i have his contact details etc.. he told me he bought it from a clearing out sale.. which indeed could be true... either way he has stolen goods and he will b charged with it..

i think its best to let the pigs deal with it.. they can do all the tracking.. however what does raise a question is..

the engine/box was recovered in geelong by police about 8 months ago.. and the guy who has the panels lives just out of geelong.. he could indeed be the guy who knocked off the car.. but you never know.
