If theres no broken glass, most likely a tow truck is being involved here.

If the doors were open with a coat hanger, I pressume the alarm would have been going off and the imbolizer would have been on.

Yeah leave another evo in the same area and stake it out.. even if it takes a week to catch them, at least you'll know who it is. And surely if the cops are there, catching them in the act, they won't be quite so useless....

you know what you can buy kits to break into cars? the same ones that the RACV guys have.. i borrowed one from a mate and it took less then 30secs to break into my car.. mind you i have never done it before.

Just to let everyone know- ANOTHER EVO was stolen last night from central melbourne, this time an E7, with no insurance.

Thats a total of 4 stolen and 1 attempt in the last couple of months from central melb!!!!! :twisted: :evil: :evil: :twisted:

How is it that people who own these cars dont have insurance? It just amazes me, if I didnt have insurance and was so sure that I would never be in an accident my car would be in my garage with a massive chain around the tailshaft bolted to my floor with my other cars parking it in.

What sort of alarm / immobiliser did the 7's come with stock?
