ok fellaz, you all know i'm an N/A person so i have no idea bout turbos (only how they work and how to mod). looking into quad throt's or turbo....

considering my compression ratio, i'm only looking into round the 7psi ish mark to run every day..... what kind of turbos would run that efficiently on a 4G63..... i could get my hands on a CT26 (i know its sheit at times but it would be free! or very cheap) i know they run under 12 psi all day easy.... would want the power round the mid to top end cause the n/a's have pritty good bottom power.....

was thinking maybe TD05 14b......

thoughts......?

a ct26 is pretty big, maybe too big for low boost.

low boost+lag really sucks

a 14b would be more suitable

14b off a vr4 is good... 10psi at like 3k rpm... less...

maybe even td04 off a GSR even smaller...

gl car would be evil with a turbs

knowing you jay you should be doing something other than turbo charging.. you're always different
wat happened to supercharging?
how bout twin turbo charging with smaller turbos?
or i'll put a challenge to you.. try mivec.. knowing you, you'll figure it out even tho the heads are facing opposite ways.

you mean design it once, blow it up many times? lol... FRONTN stop tempting me with things.....

ahahah who wants to see twin turbo 4g63? lol.... or who wants to buy me an sc14? ....

i have a new engine waiting (almost finished) just want to do something stupid to this one and give it HELL.....

nos for the drag day!!!!!!!

just get a vr4 manifold, turbo, cooler, etc.

it'd be a cheap setup and a hell of a lot less stuffing around than with the ct26 or something similar.

maybe get a vr4 sump aswell so that you don't need to modify yours.

hurm was thinking something small like a T25 but i think it would be equivalent to the td05 14b any ways.... hurm.....

why stop at quad throtts? why not quad turbs

I would be of the opinion that your engine might need to be moved forward slightly for that one.... LOL...Would be hard pressed saying "yes officer this is how it came out of the factory"...... Bahahahahahahahahahaha...

What killer..

im pretty sure it was mocked up as a joke by some english tuning house (owen developments?) The exhaust flow from one cyclinder wouldnt be very continuous so the turbs wouldnt spool very well at all. Looks cool but!

There were a few pics floating round of a twin turb '63 but it looked like alot of work, and i doubt it was very successful.
