swapping MAFs from 787 to 055 - Wiring

Hey guys, I did a search and I know its been done before...
What is required, wiring wise, in the change of these 2 MAFs?

Could be Jack, i deadset just got home from the wreckers and a huge storm came through so I have to look after the squealer daughter (hates thunder...) So unfortunately have not bee able to have a good look. I was concerned I might look like a cock by posting this....
 
OK, had a look, finally. Both are 7 pin but much different sizes. Would the pinouts be the same? Ie, would I be able to transpose the 787 wires into the 055 harness in the same positions?

Jamo, I was smart enough to cut original 055 harness back a bit there is only one that doesn't match and its green/white.....
I think it should be OK. I hope....

Ive swapped my GSR MAF for a 787 and now a 399. None of the pinouts ive checked have had different layouts. They changed the wiring colours and plug size, but its the same sensors and the same wires to each pin :)
I just removed a small section of insulation on each wire behind the stock plug and spliced in the smaller plug and pigtail. Incase I ever need to go back to the old MAF (hopefully not..)

Easy as mate, no problem at all. I didn't have it on the dyno before the swap but yeh it certainly breathes better.
