Hi, I'm putting a td05 on my gsr and bought one of those install kits from kando dynamics or what ever they're called.

Not sure if I have the wrong kit or if I'm doing it wrong but the braided lines all seem to be way to short.

I am just wondering what kits people used to fit their td05 and if anyone has any pics?

Thanks :)

so i assume it's the water hoses are to short yeah? that's because they're supposed to have a section of plain rubber hose to make up the difference the braid is just to keep the rubber away from the hot turbo

I know you need some rubber hose to join to as they came with barbs to screw into the hoses, but these lines are way too short.

I might just have to go get some rubber fuel hose in the right size and use that. And I think I need a 90deg joiner for the oil feed to make that work.

Thanks :)

I did the same thing, just went to Pirtek and told them what I was using it for, they gave me some suitable rubber hose. Just make sure you keep it away from the hot housing to be safe.

Thanks mate, what did you do about the oil feed?

Edit: wait maybe I'm having issues with the oil feed because I have a stainless manifold which is making me run the line differently. I'll figure out eventually haha

I have a factory hard line with a larger end turbo side to suit the larger feed bolt in the tdo5

I've got a 90 degree fitting on the turbo side for the oil feed, the braided line I got with my turbo was way too long, maybe a foot long or so, if I still had it I could help you out. It was a Kando one so they should be able to supply you a long enough one so you can run it whichever way you want.

So much easier getting them off ebay. Cheap an d straight to your door.
I remember 8 years ago when I bought my first braided oil feed line it was $95 for a 30cm braided line. They are a third of the price online now, it just makes sense...

I think have it sorted, went and got a couple of 90 degree fittings for the oil feed, I'm just checking though, is it ok to have the oil feed pointing upwards? It's the only way I can keep the line away from the manifold.

Is the oil feed pressurised or is it gravity fed?

You should have pressure at the head, should be right. Can you turn the banjo so it goes towards the top radiator hose more? Instead of pointing straight up?

laying around in my workshop i have the correct i think it's 5/8 - an fitting for the kit i used. the feed i under pressure so it'll be fine
