hey guys,

just been reading up on options for building turbos...

what difference would you expect to see using either a TD05h turbine or TD06h turbine in an 070 housing?

and 20G compressor in either a TD05h housing or TD06h housing?

thanks,
Mat :)

as a comparison my old vr4 ran a 20g wheel in a MSE cast td06 housing and was enough for just over 400hp and a best time of 12.5

another vr4 i knew of at the time had a td06 wheel in the stock td05h housing and im unsure of the hp but it ran identical times to my car

we had different setups and even though my car should have been in theory faster it wasnt due to various reasons but his set up proved the stock housings arnt too restrictive

if all mods are the same then i would expect the td06 wheel in a td06 housing to have better performance/potential but not by much

if ur keen mat, i can get you a tdo5/6 23g hybrid with an external gate and dump pipe all ready to bolt on with an exhaust as well!! 3" in size...
plus a manifold (manifold / turbo have been ceramic coated and dump pipe also!!)

can probably do a swap over also..
can also get you injectors to suit

its also an MSE turbo (steve murch) from nz..

supposably good for 250kw's!
max boost should be 28psi said from steve murch himself..
using his own compressor casting..

a couple of guys here in adelaide have done 20g turbo on there evos. i cant remember the exact reason why but one has a td06 housing 20g and he made a much broader power range than the td05 20g. he made 202kw at all 4's on only 16psi. and had a fat power band.
