TDO5 on a GSR 1.8

Dose any one know if a TDO5 of a EVO or VR4 will bolt on to a TDO4 GSR 1.8 manifold or is the flang different

Flange bolt pattern is the same, however the outlet on the manifold is slightly offset and smaller than the inlet to the TD05s exhaust housing. Nothing a little machining wont fix though

yeh....u definitly have to machine that outlet! other wise theres no point to putting that tdo5 on.....and u will boost all the way to redline :lol:

use the oil lines from the td04 and dremmel or port out to fit the td05 banjo bolt size.

you cant use the GSR ones, unless you drill them out, youre better off getting some nice braided ones made at pirtek anyways.

no dont drill them out!... hahahah its not good for the turbo in the end.... not enough oil n water flows threw it... also if u dont drill them correct, oil will piss out everywhere LOLz

i got mine custom made... the oil line was only $50 n it looks cool too

i cut the banjo end off the evo water lines, pulled the remaining pipe out of the fitting, heated the gsr lines up with the oxy melting the silver solder and pulled the gsr banjo fitting off the pipe. fitted the evo banjo to the gsr pipe and re silver soldered back on. just like factory!
