Hey fellas,

Whats a set of 2nd hand Tein HA's street value for a VR4?

I brought a set in for a mate about a year ago.. they were around $1300 from memory, but that was what he was willing to pay, I'm not sure what they are worth as such.

With front and rear strut tops...

Also, does anyone know if the springs from HotBits coilovers and Tein HA's are interchangable?

hmm i've been thinking more and more about it, and i really want something decent if i get rid of the hotbits..

i.e. preload adjustment.

but aside from dms, thats pretty hard to find :?

if youre still lookin jase, you can get a new set to suit a VR4 off modyourcar.com for 2200......

thats pretty cheap for new ones isnt it?

ha's.

it's not an urgency thing

long term i'll probably get something better than the hotbits, but i think if i wait i'll save up for dms or something

need go fast mods at the moment :)

man save your pennys and get some DMS or somthing, they are just simply awesome. around $4600 for the Gravel ones, so the tarmac should be cheaper.

Ive got like 60mm Proflex on the evo, awesome stuff, but i think u should just save and spend the extra money...

i think street DMS coilovers are round $2500 a set. For gravel they are very hard to beat. Im pretty sure Jack had a set on his 'drifto' VR4.

yeah i'm pretty sure they were the old ones from his rally car before he got the new ones from his rally car. awesome suspension!

DMS are the best of the best

as told by jeff and a wrx rally team

No doubt they're the ones used by all the race/rally cars, but for the street-can anyone justify spending that much money on some suspension? Spend a third of that on some KYB's and decent springs, you could have a 4-pot brake conversion almost covered with the rest??
