Hi, why would i need an engineers report? please tell me? as im only a qualified panel beater? and it has been inspected in a workshop by mechs and they couldnt find anythink on it

Because from the photos that have been posted, the car looks to have had serious structural damage. You may have fixed the superficial stuff, but you, as a panel beater, dont really have any idea about the structural integrity of the car post-impact. An engineers report/inspection would be what any HONEST vendor would organise.

look you have obviously missed the last 50 messages i wrote, there was no rail damage ect. another thing where i used to work we did insurance jobs. now when a car had been in a major stack (i'm talking about insurance jobs) the car came to us to be fixed and even if we didnt fix it it has to come to a panel beater to sign a form that it is up to specs. the car does not go to an engineer to be inspected. this is why our apprentaships are for so many years to become familiar with these sorts of things.

Ok well if it is a dodgy repair im still confused to why all the panels line up and how the wheels are 100%in line , please tell me am i retarded do i need help? whats going on? if i am a dodgy backyarder? i am a qualifed panel beater as i have stated. what is the difference if i do work at home or at a workshop? it is still had the same work done to it as it would in the workshop has it not? dont tell me that i do dodgy work because it seems like your the one that is being offensive.

1. First of all welcome to Team4g.
2. NOBODY on this forum has written that YOU are a dodgy panelbeater or that your repair is dodgy, as a matter of fact i personally think it looks great.
3. IF you as a qualified panel beater have inspected the chassis and suspension and it is within the manufacturers specs then NOBODY that buys the car has anything to worry about.
4. Saying that, perhaps you should have been 100% truthful about your car when it was advertised. Keeping in mind that of course nobody really wants to put in a big ad "has had previous crash damage"
5. Perhaps some of the guys did go a bit too far in the original thread about the interesting story, but hey, thats what we do when we as a community see something that isnt quite right, because at the end of the day we are ALL looking out for our fellow car enthusiasts, and we all can spot that sort of stuff. Maybe just not the structual stuff as we are not all qualified in certain fields(such as panelbeating/spraypainting).
6. I do appologise for the flaming that you did get when you posted but you gave as good as you got. I will lock the "interesting" thread and move it to the trash. I will also lock this thread and invite you to please start with a clean slate, by please putting your LOCATION in YOUR profile, introducing yourself and your car/former ride/current ride.
