Does anyone have a picture of an RVR or Eclipse 2g thermostat assy ?

how many bolts go into the head ? 3 or 4 ?

anyone got a picture with 3 bolts ? same style as that though, JC Evo1 has the exact housing im looking for

The RVR engine i worket on the weekend had a 4 bolt thermostat housing also, i remember coz i had to take it off, although the head had 5 bolts on it

This is a picture of my RVR hypergear head, its got a 3 hole but..... it uses the 4 holes on the outside, the 3rd hole isnt used

Interesting, my 'new' head doesnt have those 2 outside bolt holes, just the 3 around the outlet..

Here's an RVR thermostat assembly with EVO top and bottom thermostat housing covers on it (from recent RVR build).

Yeh Rob that used the 4 bolt holes as i mentioned above

the first two photos were from a "JDM 6bolt motor", the other is of a "97 Eclipse GST Spyder"

Turbulent must have a VR4 head then? Th eintake port size will be a dead giveaway.

intake ports are the same size as the evo ports, thats why im confused with wtf its off....

I dont think so. My VR4 RS frontcut had a cyclone intake manifold and big intake ports. Looking at the pics already provided to you in this thread should help you in getting your hands on a thermostat unit and housings to suit. As far as that number goes, I have NFI as its not whats usually found on EVO's, RVR's and VR4's. Maybe Eclipse, maybe NA Galant, maybe Hyundai?
