Just realising how good the depth of knowledge is amongst us here and also the wilingness of ppl to help.

I posted a thread the other day and it grew to 3 pages in a day, and it was alll helpfull stuff....i got mates on other car forums that cant even get a straight answer most of the time, and its just ******s!

I think the unity here works because we are alot smaller community and have been around together for many years unlike some other forums that have...
A: Grown very quickly
B: Have a Large percentage of members completely new to this specific brand and model range of cars.
C:& with a large percentage of quick to be know it all attitudes to go with them.

Most of us here are hardcore enthusiasts with a bigger % of hands on experience with these older models which unites us more as a group.

Like alot of forums they have their ups and downs but its been a very relaxed and a informative community here lately keep it up guys

I remeber when i couldnt sort my timing belt out, i jumped on here the day i was doing it and it was like IM chat, rob (EVO-00x) was helpn me heaps, and theres stuff on here that members (like you john) have info to that you just can not get your hands on...no matter how long u spend lookn for it....

It really is the goods.

The point about the smaller communitty is a valid one, Ive found here that everyon is here for genuine interest and help, not for self promotion, notice how often you dont see dyno sheets/quarter mile times and **** like that toping off sections like you do in other forums, its almost always Q & A's...Hell, ive even called people straight off here and spoke to them base to base like mates and I aint even met them before...and theyve been helpfull to the end.

+1 to that jamie, there is a trust there as well, we all feel like we can just talk to each other and meet up at someones place for a look at their car to diagnose a problem.

+1 it sure is a great site. I've learned a lot about these cars
(which is still not much...). So much info is contained within the site
that if I have a question there's a good chance it's already been answered.
And as a bonus of being on this site I brought 15 inch white Work Wheels (thanks George) and Evo twin spot calipers (thanks CraigGSR) at great prices.
