People love to turn on the TV and see people less fortunate than them. Look at the success of shows such as Idol and all the other reality rubbish.

We wouldent have two pages of forum pondering if they had interviewed some safe, intelligent and well spoken person commenting about the lack of drag strips.

Basically today tonight and the others are trying force the opinion on the general public that if they see a person in a modified car they 'do drifting and racing.'

It makes for good ratings, they know it will sell and they know that at the moment anything with 'hoon' in the title will be watched.

Just once I wish they would run a story with an actual car enthusiast, that isnt a trash talking attention seeking dick head. Somone that knows what they are talking about and can show that there is a difference from a real enthusiast and a burnout/drift wanker in skylines/commodores etc. But I know they won't run a story like that and if they did it would be edited to shit.

The leb/wog in that clip is obviously a attention seeking wanker, they just seem to focus in on the wogs that do it and not everyone else. He is so arrogant and self obsessed to think that his and his mates opinions belong on TV. What he doesnt think is, what he says, his own 'reasons' for doing it is the only opinion that the general public see. Thats how the association starts, and thats how it has come to loving your car and modifying your car now leads to impounding/crushing.

What a crock of shit! Today Tonight are KNOWN for concocting up stories and even paying people (amateur actors) in their ploy to manipulate what they want you to see. That story was so fake, the people, the wording, even to the point that somebody watched all 3 Fast & The Furious movies and took down notes on the wording for the script. Today Tonight is the worst and fake current affairs program there is who have been found guilty (proven on A Current Affair) of making up shit that isnt true.
