Toyota RAV4 EV

Toyota plans to start production of the second generation RAV4 EV sometime next year.
I found the prototype standing in front of the Toyota factory in Cambridge, Ontario as I was leaving work. They were showcasing it to the employees. I got an OK to take pictures.

I knew it was only a matter of time before Toyota moved on to electric cars other then the Prius...As i have seen the Camry/Aurion now the Rav4 was the next option...only question is, is there a market to have more then 1 electric car? i know they are hard to spot in traffic but what are the sales figures like on electric cars?
