Hey Guys

Looking at running this 80mm Throttle body, however the TPS mount is completely different to the factory Mitsi one.
This TPS mount is a single stalk and like a half circle wher it is round and with a flat edge. Does anyone have any idea what TPS can be used on this TB?

you also have to place to put a idle closed switch.

I just went through all this with my throttle body. I used a evo tps ( or any mid 90's lancer ) that has 4 pins. The extra pin is the idle closed.

You will have to fab up the rest.

The real question is, do you really need a 80mm throttle body?
Are you making huge horsepower? You may find that low end throttle response may suffer.
I use a S90 70mm throttle body on mine. All the stock stuff bolts right up and I'm running boost in the mid 30psi range on a fairly decent sized turbo.

mmmmm you bring a very valid point, would there really be that much of a noticeable difference even between 70 and 80mm thottle bodys in terms of throttle response?
good thing is i can exchange the 80mm for a 70mm but still need to find tps,

Yes.
Where did you get the manifold and throttle body from?
I'd sell te throttle body and buy this one instead...

I'm guessing that you need to use the 4pin TPS to get the throttle closed signal? What do you use for an idle control valve?

What 4 wire tps can we bolt on the Vr4 tb?

Lancer/magna from the same era AFAIK know the cc lancer one is bolt on.

If you do get one, make sure you get the plug/wires as well because the VR4's plug has the hole filled in where the extra pin should go.

^^ Me? If so, Ecmlink lets me simulate the throttle closed switch. And the isc etc bolts straight to it.

Ah, cool cheers. Just the images on the ebay ad didn't look like you could refit the isc etc.
