Dont even bother with throwing any mods at it just a set of decent race pads for the front replace al your fluid's and take it out would be your STEP 1
There's no need to do any mods apart from the above on your first outting I know a ton or guys that have taken this route just to get the feel and experience of tracking a road car and then after the bug bites then start your merry journey into $$mods.
I did my first 2 track days on standard set up with only race pads in the front and it was all i needed to get that real fix then the plans were drafted from there
