Transfer case

Hey i did a search to see if there was a difference in ratio's in tranfer cases. I found nothing. So can anyone help?

I have 2 transfers here, one is marked as EVO VR4, the other looks exactly the same....? Can i put either into a GSR?

No.

Check what ratio you need first.
Then check what ratio you have on you two transfer cases.

Is there a part number that i can reference with?

The box is a standard GSR box, and i'd imagine that the Diff is also standard.

check the pline counts first then if they are the same take the inspection plate off the top of the transfer case and count the teeth inside of both to see if they are the same.

They're 23 spline cases, and 24 teeth under the inspection cover.
