Just wonder if anyone has experience with tuning/flashing 2011 WRX using romraider and ecuflash?

Cheers

I guess that could have been worse, may have asked about flashing a Great Wall ute.......... :-/

Hmmm, same casts maybe, but I think there's a ocean between a mitsi donk and one of them. I would like to see what rods and pistons they are using. Might walk home along Marmion ave and see if I can find an example in the gutter. :)

Jokes aside. Mr vr401 is a smart man looking to crack into the market of flashing rex's. It'll be a cash cow I reckon, every Rex owner and his dog want a flash.

Hehheee

It was gonna be only for friend of mine. Once he test drove my evo he wants to do power upgrade. At least his rexy is only boosting to 14psi stock so it can be boosted with proper tune. I have everything for it now but still have to learn how to tune due to a difference between evo ecu and wrx ecu.

He likes the way my evo handles 23psi tho. :D

Tactrix and ECU Flash work fine with the 2011 WRX

Should be able to get 200kw (safely) with full 3" exhaust and a pod/k&n filter on the EJ25

From memory your rear demister switch (on the climate control) becomes a logging activation switch when using ECU flash

There is also romraider similar to ecuflash to edit bin and ecuflash is still used for reading ecu and flashing. It's only that wrx tuning is different to evo tuning. The way ecu works is different. :(

Well, they have to do as much as they can to try and keep up with 4g63s :p
Till they either lift head gaskets, break pistons (wrx pistons are about as strong as 4G93 conrods LOL), and/or destroy gearboxes LOL.

Really... the thing to remember is that the WRX is really a GSR equivalent, and the STI is the EVO equivalent. Keep that in mind when tuning (i.e. wouldn't venture much farther than 15 PSI of boost on a stock motor, etc)
