turbo help

wel ive been trying to fix my turbo its fine apart from the cracks on the exhaust side of the turbo so easy as get another one.
so i got a stock td04 one off a stock gsr and it doesnt fit???wtf?
the one i have is larger and the td04 one i got is smaller by about 3mm.
from researech i think ive found my problem i think i have a td05 rear exhaust housing???
i have have part numbers if that helps?
mine is 37712640
and the td04 one i got is 7712600

Take some pics, a TD05H exhaust housing won't fit a TD04L (GSR) bearing housing. You sure your turbo is a TD04L?

It's possible someones done a TD04HL upgrade (The TD04HL exhaust wheel is bigger than the TD04L). if you can get a hold of some calipers, measure the inducer and exducer of the turbine wheel and google what it is.

just measured the Exducer Diameter its pretty close to : 45.59mm so pretty sure its a td04hl. now to find a exhaust housing!
