I have been thinking of spinning the front housing on my turbo so that it points downwards, so that i can reroute the I/C piping away from the exhaust. I have heard this can be done but have not seen it done nor do i know what needs to be modified. Obviously i will need to make new mounts for the actuator, but does any one know what else would need to be modified? or even have pics of the conversion?

You will need to remove the locating pin and re-position it at the right orientation / position.

Re-installing the locating pin at a new position is optional.

ive done it to a tdo5 big16 to my rvr
i basically made a ring bracket that bolts around the inlet of the turbo onto the the w/gate actuator mounts and then bolted the modified w/gate actuator on to the ring bracket.
waste gate actuator will need mods to bolt on, and then the rod will need to be cut and rewelded to a straight positon thats pretensioned to ur wastegate flapper......oh and u will most likely need a slim line radiator fan:thumbsup: and hours of fun
