i'm looking to upgrade my brakes soon,
was wondering what is the easiest way to go about these? any upgrades that are straight bolt ons? e1 - 3 maybe? or should i just upgrade my rotors and pads?.. and how much am i lookin at spending?

EVO brakes
I just recod mine...Good as new, slots all round with racing pads on all 4s

And if it doesnt stop......ill throw a paracute on the f^%$$# LoL :D

i've been quoted 350 for some evo1 front brakes which look in ok condition. jsut a bit of rust. would i need to upgrade my rear brakes aswell or keep my stock gsr ones?

i recomend evo 3s my mate had some put on his car by jeff at tech sport.
The thing nearly stands on its nose.
thay are good

that was
- read rotera and calapers $500
- braded lines (a pair) $300 * 2
- front rotors $350
- front calapers $150 each
- evo 3 uprights $150 each
- brombo break fluid 2bottels at $45 each
- green stuff break pads $180 for front $160 rear

all up $2130

+350

This what u could get if u go to techsport. This what i want to get

I'm running...

KR Verada ABS Twinpots up front ~~ $100
Standard calipers down back ~~ free :p
RDA Slotted rotors all around ~~ $380
Ferodo DS2500 pads on the front ~~ $Expensive
EBC Blackstuff on the back (Greenstuff never gets to temp on the back) ~~ $100
$15 sandblasting and $30 painting on the calipers :p
Front and rear goodrich lines ~~ Had them sitting around I think they are like 400 dollars for a set
no idea on fluid

Total cost fitted came in under 1000 (but not by much). And they were fitted by my mechanic during a regular service.

I upgraded because my front left caliper seized.

And if you're wondering, my car is perfectly capable of throwing you through the windscreen from just about any speed... And i've still got ABS.

nah i am, thats why im lookin around for some brakes so i can get them all done at the same time :p

Standard rear GSR brakes are same as EVO 1-3, so no need to upgrade there. Go the EVO1 brakes you wont regret it !!

Thanks VR4RS that is correct . Evo 1 2 3 are all the same . Rears are all the same. (In fact I think the verada discs and calipers are the same as well)

Have a KR Verada Xi myself and they definetly have EVO rotors and twin pot callipers. Also noticed has the EVO 055 MAF aswell :)
