Setting a Vr4 up for hillclimb/rally.

Guess I should explain the full set up.

F/R strut braces (already in the car),
fully adjustable coilovers. (K-SPORT)

Not sure on the swaybars,

What size front bar would combo well with a whiteline 26mm adjustable rear bar :?: . Im guessing the Whiteline 22mm front bar but don't really want to guess.

Does anyone know there suspension set ups or have experience with these Swaybars, any help/advice much appreciated.

Cheers.

If its for dirt rally, remove the front sway bar. Leave the stock rear one in.

If its for tarmac stuff, just leave the stock front sway bar there and upgrade the back one.
I have the 22mm rear whiteline sway bar and its a nice compromise. Turn in is good and lift off oversteer is very gentle and controllable.

Cheers for the reply Rob 323, I realise its all personal preference as far as fine tuning but thanks for the tips.

mate sticking with the stock front bar combined with 22mm rear bar for tarmac as suggested.

As far as camber go's can anyone tell me what they run/suggest with the 22mm rear bar for tarmac and would that change for gravel.

In general I was thinking of 2 deg negative camber up front.

Its the rear camber im not sure on, would zero rear camber create to aggressive oversteer or would maybe 1 deg negative keep a balance with that rear 22mm bar. :?:

I was also going to set toe neutral for the road, should this be changed on track days?

VR4's are like crocodiles, around at the begining of Evolution and still feared today.

im running the stock front bar (-1.25 camber, MAX caster (camber/caster top hats - greatly improves turnin/turnout)
26mm rear bar (-1 camber) (set on No.5) this provides me lots lift off over (this is how i prefer to drive), id suggest a tamer setting for street tires, and stiffer for semi's (goes to 6).
I also have fr/rr braces, coil overs, and cage (each bit will make your car handle different, with the cage making the BIGGEST difference)

I'd go the 26 mm adjustable bar for the rear, cause you can adjust it to suit how you like it. Lift off oversteer is a must have in my book for autocrosses.

I keep 1.5 degrees -ve camber on the rear no matter what sort of event I'm doing. I wouldn't change it back to 0 as the body roll in a vr4 will make it go +ve.
