Upping Boost with Factory Solenoid

I know the AVC-R, ultimately, is the way to go, but that's the magic phrase though - "Once set up correctly".

Who can tune them PROPERLY and how much will it cost me? There's too many parameters that go into the AVC-R setup and for the sake of the time and $$$ that will be spent running the thing on a dyno to get it all spot on, I'd rather run a bleed valve and boost gauge and have it run the constant boost that I want. The AVC-R is a great unit but it has alot of functions and controls that I don't want/need.

turbotech are very good and i used to use one myself but upgraded
to electronic.

the turbotechs still do spike up boost on throttle opening and dont hold 100% rock solid.

saying that they are very good value no doubt about it, but are def not as good as a electronic boost controller,especially an avcr.
im my experience anyway

im running the factory solenoid as my boost control and it sucks ass...

we've been having issues getting it to hold steady boost.

turbotech would be the best bang for buck option

Rickii surely one of the Melbourne boys would do you a favour and tune it for you for a six pack or something :idea: yes its not for the uninitiated admittedly.

Running a bleed valve BC, yes you will be able to play with the settings your self, seems like you just need one of the Vic Boys to put their hand up and help you out on setting it up, its probably a 20-25minute job max :roll: Maybe try and organise to hook up with someone on a cruise :idea:
Its definitely worth it dont give in yet bro
