Please read this Blog link by Athol one of our leading Engineers in NSW, this is of massive importance and we need this sent out to everyone and everywhere possible to get the message to all Enthusiasts ASAP.
Tip toeing around this issue is not going to help anyone in the future who wish to sustain their Hobby and continue to enjoy the cars we have owned for many years, Athol has clearly stated in this blog what is on the cards and I think anyone in their wisdom will understand we are in a fairly bad situation regarding the use and ability to put our cars on the road in NSW in the very near future.
The VSI50 was overturned and now the RTA are shooting directly for the Engineers as their next target to bring down the structure which has been in place for 17 years and there is no tangible reason for it.

I've finally started a series of blog posts on the proposed RTA Vehicle Safety & Compliance Certification Scheme (VSCCS) that is intended to replace the existing Engineering Certification Scheme (ECS). This will affect anybody that modifies a vehicle and needs it certified for NSW registration.
