US Evo track crash

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

The cage worked well. Hear him try to start the engine again fater he rolled it :? I thought that was the first thing you learnt NOT to do...

But if your car is on its side/roof you would be pretty aware that you were in a crash/roll. And if you had any training whatsoever you would have been told either turn the engine off ASAP and do not turn it back on.

Looked like he was just out there cutting laps for fun so yeah, but if it were a competition, and its back on its wheels, of course you try n start the bastard. Youve already lost time

But that thing was pretty crook looking.

Cage paid for itself at least.

haah so true.. if if burns then u get out, if not keep going ;)

a friend of mine rolled his evo (about as bad as that one) at Robertstown rally last year, went off road in 4th gear at like 140ish rolled 4 times, but landed back on its wheels, the motor was still running, so he tried to grab 1st and go again.. pity the gear box casing had broken of its mounts, and he wasnt going anywhere, least he was keen tho.. :)

the aftermath... its all fixed and going agin now.. with a 8th in the First State round this year.. not a bad effort

That driver was unconscious for a few seconds as you can hear the uncontrolled airway obstruction, than as he came too thats when he started to start the car, disorientated.
