Vacuum Leak

Just as the title says. My E2 has a vacuum leak and i wanted to know ways of finding it out where it is coming from and how to fix it or what caused it.

well when i press the gas the engine kinda doesnt rev for a spilt second then revs. so its like wen the gas is pressed its a makes a silient sound then revs. sometimes makes the car stall. the guy who i had look at it said that it had a vacuum leak.
