Hey Hey Chappies,
Weve had great turnouts for the last few cruises, and this one should be no different - especially with the retun of matress, Olly, etc etc just to name a few.
Something a little different this time ---- Maroondah reservoir, but via a slighty scenic route through the southeast of Kinglake. Return trip will be through Christmas hills and Kangaroo Ground.
I might just add, that the road in places can get a bit hairy, in places its very narrow - steep and large drop on one side, and cliff on the other side, so extra care will need to be taken in these places.
Meet: 10am @ Westerfolds Park, Templestowe, Melways ref 33 G2* (in designated carpark)
Depart: 11am SHARP
Destination: Maroondah reservoir, Melways ref 270 K10*BBQ facilities & KIOSK
Bring: UHF Radios
BBQ food
BBQ utensils
FULL tank of petrol
Camera
hope see you all there! post up if your coming!
In the event of bad weather, we can lunch at the Healsville hotel.
Please note: If you do not already have a UHF radio, I strongly advise you invest in one - they become invaluable when stuck a traffic lights/ behind traffic.
*all melways references from edition 28
*NB - attendance at your own risk.
*NB - Team4g will not be responsible for damage or injury caused by dangerous driving, and in no way, shape, or form endorses or encourages "hoon-like" behaviour.
