cant make it, no motor in car, i find out on monday if i hav 2 rebuild the motor, but the piston rings are gone.
tech sport did a leak down test cylinder 2 and 3 had 100% failure, cylinder 4 had 75% and cylinder 1 had 40%.
hopfully not 2 much damage to the block but who knows yet.

i went for a drive last night and we bumped into a skyline cruise.. a MASSIVE one at least 20 cars + one hot evo 9 which i tried to follow, but failed

Damm it.......i got my car back last night after 6 weeks of not having it and boi does it drive well but there is a slight electrical issue where my headlights and interior lights pulse on and off so im thinking maybe altenator or something and i dont wana get stuck in the middle of nowhere! so looks like i wont be coming :cry:

Well, I just got back from the meet point, looked like a pretty dismal turnout, about 12 cars all up, only about 8 actually went on the cruise.......

Oh well, i would've if i had some street tyres but didnt want to shread a $2000 set of michelin rally tyres for 1 day on the bitumen.

not a good turn out... only like 14 cars if that, n ppl were leaving... so i never went on the cruise... i have a few pics i'll post up though...

It was a good day in the end. Jayrome had a bit of scare after encountering some loose gravel in the twisties :twisted: but apart from that it was a good chance to meet some new faces as per usual.

We left Templestowe with only 8 cars, after some 13 had showed up, and managed to bump into another 6 up at Maroondah dam.

The drive up was a good one, as was the BBQ, and the company. As already mentioned, the turnout was a bit dissapointing, especially considering the numbers of people who posted up that they were coming initially.
