[VIC] - Dyno Day (Sept 10th 2005)

Everyone should know what a Dyno is so I wont bore you with details.

Where: Subaru Interactive @ DOCKLANDS
(99 Lorimer St, Docklands VIC 3008).
Subaru has a 4WD Dyno so all cars are welcome.

The Day will be grouped into 4WD, RWD and FWD. A Specific Run Time will be given to all Participants.

Cost: $45 (AUD)
This entitles you to 2 runs with a Printed Result Sheet.
BBQ and some good company

So far we have a nice mix of people/cars attending from STI, R34 GT-R, R33 GT-R, 350z, BMW Z8, BMW M5, S15 etc.

Okay, I just got back from the meet, ran into SIVART and chica, copped abit of flack from the STI staff for my numberplates, but I soon showed them as I recorded the best 4cyl 4WD power reading of 182.2kw atw.

The other contenders were an 03 STI (STISAM) which made 177.Xkw, an 01 WRX which made 155.Xkw and another 01 WRX which only made 114.X kw!!!

The RWD 4 cyls were up just when I was leaving, so I doubt ill be taking the 4cyl class out, there were some nice S15 200SX's lining up.

Best run of the day that I saw was an R34 GTR with 272.X kw.

Had a good time, I hate to say it but that subarude dealership is amazing!

I woke up late and forgot my camera, but there should be plenty of pics/vids up on the GTcarclub website soon.
