Ray Hall from Autronic has introudcued his own brand of ECU. They make plenty of plug-ins - all EVOs.

It's impressive - try 8 Auxiliary outputs, anti-lag, flat shift, launch control, etc.

JPC in Melbourne have sole Victorian distribution.

I'm considering getting a plugin.

No, it just means they are the only ones selling them. They have also been Autronic distributors, so they will know this software very well.

just got off the phone to them 1515 + gst supplied only
could be anywhere up to 2200 supplied fitted and tuned
(has to fit some aux wires etc.. for air temp and all that crap)

VERY pricey if you ask me.. you can get a microtech/wolf or haltech plugin for about the same amount if not cheaper!

Yes,

Ray has parted with Autronic

There is a discussion on performance forums about this also, The software is pretty much like Autronic software and so are the functions of the ECU.

VIPEC CDI is now M&W just like MOTEC. AUTRONIC have their own which is still a higher spec.

In my opinion, it looks to be some soft of AUTRONIC copy. Price is very good for what it can do.

As for tuners, anybody who knows how to use an AUTRONIC should be able to use the VIPEC.

Remember, the language used in the software of all ECU's are not the same. This is especially evident with the Autronic as they use a very different method of tuning if you campare to other ecu's like wolf/micro/haltech etc.

honestly the evo 7 ECU would be a waste liberoz you can reflash evo 3 ECU with ECUFLASH and ECUTEK software you just need to buy the wire from the states or the UK

i got the wire for my evo 6 dont know why i got it just did to look at the tune on my garage HRS evo 6 ecu

im looking at going motec once the power FC / with launch control and anti lag / flat shift is no longer good for what i need it for

just also got the http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/ software for the power FC hope that comes soon trying to get car all ready for winton

We all knows what works and what we have been running for a couple of months

If you had the knowledge on why a E7 ecu shits all over the ce9a ecu you wouldn't make a uninformed judgement like that................... so just keep looking down that narrow pathway.

We have spent more hours on R&D actually doing something way ahead of its time probably than most of you have spent on building your cars lol, and beyond what others around the world have even attempted to do so anyways You all know whats best and whats the best value for money eh!

Yeah an aftermarket ECU is what you all need isn't it or is it?
