vr4 pistons evo forged rods?

hey there just want to know it its posiable to use vr4 pistons with evo forged rods and a std vr4 crack and vr4 block ? any help pls

Getting the right rods will be the cheapest option

You can't use evo rods with a vr4 cranks and bottom end.
They are thinner in the big end than the vr4 units

Vr4 rods are stronger anyway are they not ?

The price or aftermarket forged gear is not that much nowdays , the scat rods and wiseco pistons were fairly cheap for the stroker we are building

from memory: 1st gen 4G63 vr4/dsm rods are thicker then 2nd/3rd gen engines...

Ah righto. I read that back to front. I'm with croket anyways cos aftermarket gear is a lot cheaper then þ years ago. I have 3 eagle rods u can buy... hahaha. The 4th is somewhere in the upper stratosphere.

You are back to front.
You need 6 bolt rods on a 6bolt crank. I got my rods with the 22mm small end to suit evo pistons.
6 bolt have 21mm pins std so evo pins wont fit.
