Umm, ok. I'm really confused now. (Sorry to clutter your thread Matt, but this may prove handy to you aswell).
Craig, I thought the viscous coupling was the thing in the first pic? (This one is welded obviously)
And the centre diff, is the thing in the second pic?
Does the thing in the second pic need to be welded up aswell?
I wanna get this issue sorted out as well hey, I have no idea what needs to be done to lock the AWD box to FWD. I've spoken to a fair few people about this, and each one has had their own unique opinion, and I can never derive a straight answer from them. :?:
The guy thats putting my box back together told me that, because my viscous coupling (thing in the first pic) is already welded, the centre diff. (thing in the second pic) doesn't need to be. But now you guys are saying it does  ............I hope he hasn't put my box back together yet!!
He sorta looked hairy fairy about it to start with, but seeing that he was a gearbox rebuilder, I assumed that he'd know what needs to be done, so I left him with it.
Any help would be much appreciated. (I'm sure you'd too Matt, because I bet that KM206 won't last long with your new motor. )
Thanks.
