Just pulled my tranny apart, can of worms! I thought tear it down, give it a good clean then go from there! Bought a high performance rebuild kit from the Alto USA company. fingers crossed, don't want to be like that guy on youtube who had to pull it out 3 times lol.
Does anyone know if I should replace the torque converter, I hear you can't get all the fluid out of them which means you would still have specs of crap floating around.
Also are there upgrade converters and one more question what's with the stall speed significance?

Aldo is the auto guru on here.
I built my f4a33 box which is basically the same but fwd.

I didn't replace or change my converter. The old trans came out operational and fluid was clean. Now that it is all back in and driving I don't seem to have any issues.

Hi, I was hoping to find out the drill bit sizes used for the separator plate for the Translab Shift-kit upgrade? I opened up the valve body and to my surprise the superior shift kit has been installed, however after watching the iptperformance guy show how its done i've noticed some of the holes haven't been drilled. He mentions drill bit sizes but i'm confused, for instance what is a 93,000 drill bit in metric conversion or a 110,000 or 67 or 55? Maybe someone has the instructions handy?

Cheers I kept getting the decimal place wrong anyway I just want to double check someone else's handy work if you know what I mean, I might have to bin the plate and get a new one.
