No probs. Sounds like it was the incorrect installation of the springs into the back of the keys in the hub.
The keys would have moved out of alignment and not push out to lock the slider onto the hub, therefore causing it to jump out of gear.
When the new springs and keys are in, the keys will sit further out of the hub and need to be pressed in hard with your fingers in order to slide the slider onto the hub.
It should all then click together and lock into place solidly when shifting gear.
