Hi guys,this car was spotted at an auto show down here on the weekend,it is a local car but i have never spotted it before, is there any way of telling from the pics if its an evo,gsr or just a kitted up cc??
i did a rego enquiry and the engine code is cb58...just wondering as the gsr is a bit of a rare item in tassie

ive got both a gsr and a glxi, and the interior in my glxi is exactly the same... that ugly blue, and the mirrors arent electric ones either..

love his splits though, however i dont know why the tweeters are down there as well..

yep GLXI, (kitted up CC) its not all bad tho, he has put a 1/2 decent motor in there, DOHC MIVEC! I noticed the bonnet has no bulge, just the vents fitted to standard bonnet.

The car is a GLXi. The blue interior, 6500rpm redline tacho are a deaad giveaway (I bet his tacho only reads half revs too, if any! :lol: ) . Its not a 1.5 GL because its got a keyless fuel filler lid, and variable speed window wiper stalk (unless it was put in). The 1600cc DOHC 4G92 MIVEC engine has been transplanted in, my brother did the same into his girlfriends car and after driving it the engine is way over-rated in my opinion (just like V-TEC yo!!!). I hate the blue interiors with a passion because they can never look good :lol:

its a GL or Gli becuase of the color of the dash (Blue)

the car is a cc glxi sedan with an engine transplant

The 1600cc DOHC 4G92 MIVEC engine has been transplanted in, my brother did the same into his girlfriends car and after driving it the engine is way over-rated in my opinion (just like V-TEC yo!!!). :

Yeah but he has put it right where his pod filter is, so maybe done with a pupose in mind rather than just immitating an evo.
