it's not so much power but torque combined with load and stressing the rods. most report have the rods letting go either in the low end or right up high in the range. where timing is very well advanged and the rods are copping the highest amount of stress
Don't know how I could have been any more specific than actually saying 138 @ 15 psi fwd = front wheel drive

Don't get me wrong it'd be great if he can punch out 150+ but you also have to consider fuel flow etc as I said earlier that boost figure was not intended it was all creep and was getting quite lean according to the dyno operator.

With nothin more than the full compliment of evo bolt ins turbo ecu injectors afm. I'd suggest no more than 15 psi max boost to keep the ecu map happy and not risk leaning out.

But I have ECM lite, the answer to everything! Well not quite, but with that and bigger injectors I am assuming that the issue you had khunber won't be quite as bad for me because the tuner can add more fuel as required. I think you said you had the standard GSR ecu at the time, so I am assuming that's why it ran lean. Of course my argument is stuffed if you had an ecu as well!

And yes, I will be running 15 psi as this is my daily, hence somewhat lower boost than Dane (who ran up to 22psi on stock :eek: )

So if I get less than I am hoping for I might just have to turn the boost up, and if it goes bang... oh well, I'll just have to do a conversion, or a forged motor, or scrap it and get an EVO 7...

for this injustice....and since the army has trained you in all fine things of cooking. You are cooking at the next BBQ. Which I will organise soon...because the organiser gets to steal other peoples food and that way I might get a meal this year. Fucking 93k..93 fucking K
