What music is everyone into?

I like lots of different music from heavy metal to country, dance to maintstream. I go through stages and appreciate most genres. At the moment in one car I have Nickelback's new CD, and in the other car I have Motley Crue's new Saints of Los Angeles :)

A Tribe Called Quest, Beastie Boys that kind of thing floats my boat! but also like other stuff... The Strokes, early Kings of Leon, Daft Punk. Favorite band of all time... The Pixies! (waiting for comments about how gay their name is..)

Pixies ftw, "where is my mind" is one of my alltime favourite songs.
I am a bit of a smiths tragic myself...and before you ask-no I am not emo :p

anyway i love electro/house and a bit of 80's

I hope you get well soon mate :p

I listen to a lot of Indie/Alternative/Blues aswell as a bit of Aussie and UK hip hop and a small amount of US hip hop (De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Jurassic 5, the Black Eyed Peas first two albums - anything after that is total rubbish!)

All time favourite bands would have to be Stereophonics, Modest Mouse and The Smashing Pumpkins. I'm also a massive fan of the Black Keys, Millencolin, Gomez, The Drones, Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, just to name a few.

Before I cop it for liking Aussie hip-hop, I admit there is a massive amount of rubbish out there, especially coming out of Obese Records. Muph & Plutonic are still my favourites. Other good acts are The Herd, Astronomy Class, Downsyde, Bliss n Eso. Not much else takes my fancy under that genre.

In regards to UK stuff, I'm really really loving Roots Manuva's latest release. Motley is great aswell, puts on an amazing live show. I'm hoping Plan B brings out a new album soon too.

I pretty much only listen to aussie hip hop these days.:) Still love KORN,there show at the 99 BDO was mental and Three dollar Bill yall was limp bizcut's only album which was good IMO,still love there old stuff.

Gotta add Drapht,Bias b,PEZ,matty B,Illzilla to the ones you listed matress. Drapht,Matty b and Bliss & Esso would be my top 3.

Pretty much all Hip hop fron the US these days is utter crap, Bone thugz & Harmony still rock though

Ill listen to prety much anything when im at work but i draw the line a F%$^ING PINK!!!! Im so sick of her winey voice and songs,my wifes cd is now binned and when i hear anything related to her i turn what ever its playing on straight off.

Hard rock/Metal and "Alternative"

The Pixes as mentioned earlier are great, Gouge Away is another goodun. Other than that, Rage, SOAD, Metallica, Korn, Foos, Nirvana, Tool, Shihad - been cranking a bit of 8 foot Sativa recently too (Kiwi Metal band)
