Doesnt look like an OEM, nor a Cusco RS or MZ LSD, nor a Quaife LSD, nor a Kaaz LSD to me. WTF is it? lol

I'm with Rob on this one but my guess is a FRANKINSTEIN MZII LSD

but i still wanna know if its an 1way, 1.5 or 2 way when i frist had it i did a u- turn its cluck like a mofo!!! but not anymore and i wonder my gear box has mods done to it aswell.. guess i gotta pull the box apart n see i hope it got central diff and front diff done.. it came from an x top sercet track car.. save me mod the thing =]

If you have the wrong oil, mech type LSDs will clunk like crazy.

Same goes with front diffs.

Most clutch type LSDs will bind up the drivetrain in some small way.

Even viscous stuff do this (without the noise)

could also be a ATS (active traction service) unit. i cant find my fotos of one i found at work. redline to a great friction modifier that works fine in mech clutch lsds. it does a great job of shutting up some diffs with higher preloads.
