What rear diff is this? and where to rebuild?

I bought a rolling evo 3 shell and it still has the rear diff in it, and am not sure if the diff is a LSD or not. I haven't been able to locate any numbers on the diff to identify it that way either. so any help will be muchly appreciated

get a new one the genuine ones are getting a bit long in the tooth now and usually need some work

for the record LSD rear you can see through it so it doesn't have that rod obscuring the view through :lol:

It also has a sign on them saying " ONLY LSD OIL"

Yeah, someone pulled a shifty on the EVO 3 rolling shell and replaced it with an open rear diff.
Did you buy the shell as a "SHELL" only or did they say it still had Evo3 running gear and rear diff in it?
If it was sold as a rolling shell then they could have taken the good bits off it and replaced the rear diff with a GSR open diff for ease of transporting the shell around on wheels.
It all depends on what the conditions of sale were.

I only bought the shell for the extra reinforcing plates that the GSR's don't have. When i got it home i realised the diff was still in there, so i was hoping to have a little win with the diff haha. The previous owner used the vehicle as a donor for their "super mirage" they are building. There is a heap of parts from the car that are laying on the floor of the cab and once i get mine back on the road i will go through them and sell them off.
