What size battery's are u guys using? (CCA)

just wondering whats the smallest battery that is being used on a 4g63 engined car...

i've seen 330cca

i used to run 660cca

im concerned more about cranking over the engine.

Yeah 360CCA, no problems so far at all, and I have a fair few electrical devices.

That said, i'm going to put that battery into my CB GSR, and fit a 440CCA min size larger conventional battery to my CC GSR.

Previous owner chucked a 240cca Odessey in mine.
Its too low, cranks it over fine, but cold mornings of late its getting a little slower too crank.

Mind you hasn't let me down in the last 12months of daily driving.

Mine starts first crank. All the time. Regardless of temp.

Stereo's loud and clear, everything works. It was worth the money.

i've done more research

optima 680 (tiny sized battery, about 7.5kg's)
meant to be more than enough for our cars

17 amp hours
and should be good to crank our cars for 3 mins straight

they use them in v8's / rb26's etc

only problem, once they go flat, its flat ..(eg. its crank and start or nothing)

i got priced for $220.00

prices going up next month

Yeah, and if you use a redtop (680) and you have a non-standard stereo, you can kiss your warranty goodbye. THat's why I got a yellow.
